Becoming a Driver

As a licensed driver you can be a self employed business person with the freedom to work as and when you wish on a 24/7 basis 365 days a year.

Telecabs Criteria
all applicants must have:

• A current P.P.V. operators license
• Professional driving skills
• Ability to assist and communicate effectively with people with special needs
• Ability to operate passenger loading mechanism
• Advanced knowledge of Douglas area
• Commitment to customer service
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills
• Knowledge of ergonomics and manual handling
• Ability to read maps and navigate
• Ability to provide tourist information
• Ability to handle conflict situations
• Drive vehicle efficiently and safely
• Plan and navigate the most efficient routes
• Fill in Company documentation
• Neat and tidy personal presentation
